Our Heart For Missions …
Our congregation supports Jan and John Baxter, who are teaching at the Baptist Theological College & Seminary in Cebu, Philippines. They have four children and two grandchildren. Their youngest daughter, Ellie, is a student at Faith Academy in Manila.
Christ Community Church is happy to support Laurel Miller (pictured at top right of this page), who faithfully serves with Wycliff Bible Translators in and around the Ivory Coast of Africa.
We also have assisted Esther and Gary Smith, (pictured at the top left of this page) who serve with New Tribes Mission in Papua New Guinea. They have four children who are with them on the field. |

We also support PROJECT HUNGARY, an international ministry dedicated to the translation of major theological books for the training of Hungarian nationals in Bible College and Seminary. The Executive Director is the Rev. Michael A. Braun, M.Div, ThM. |

Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters (www.swoutfitters.com), which is a Christian extreme adventure camp located here in our home county, is another recipient of our support and encouragement.
We have also provided designated support to the Woman’s Enrichment Center, The Rock (a local Christian youth center) and two other Christian youth camps. |

Our congregation has financially supported and also provided volunteer leaders for the local chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) with its summer Bible clubs and “Good News Club” at Andrews Elementary School and also at Martins Creek School. |

In 2004 and 2005, we sponsored Maria, one of our former partners (a native of Macau) as she ministered to international students during a weeklong retreat for university students. |

We provide monthly support for SNOWBIRD T.E.A.M. MINISTRIES, INC. whose mission is to impact the people of Snowbird and its surrounding communities to live for Christ. The ministry began in the 1990’s among the Cherokee people living in Graham County, N.C. Its purpose is To Teach, To Equip, To serve as Advocates and Mentors. Marsha and Mike Harwood direct this effort in our neighboring county |
